I’ve known John since I was a little kid from my days training for tennis. Now, to have the opportunity to compete in his show as a bodybuilder is a big honor!!
I’ll be posting a more formal announcement soon about competing again this year after taking a year off to focus on more important things and to grow and what I hope to achieve by documenting my fitness journey to the stage this year, something I haven’t done before.

I’ve known John since I was a little kid from my days training for tennis. Now, to have the opportunity to compete in his show as a bodybuilder is a big honor!!

Trina and I have been working together for 15 months towards her goal of proving to herself she has what it takes to be a competitive athlete in the @npcusatexas safe to say, after her first two shows, she has surpassed that expectation and has found a new love & passion for life through bodybuilding.
This was personal for Trina. I’ve seen all the ups & downs over the past year. I’ve gotten to know Trina at her core. I told her on her hard days, “how you feel in this moment won’t matter when you’re on stage! But what you do within this moment determines who you are on that stage!” This was more than just a bodybuilding show. This was Trina standing in her power, putting herself first, and fiercely chasing after her goals for the first time in her life, and not settling for average. This was Trina evolving into a whole new person!🦋 the crazy part is, we are just getting started.
I am honored you came up to me at the gym 15 months ago and felt called by a higher power to choose me as your coach & now friend as well! Our pre stage prayer will never leave my heart @tfit41

This one is is gonna put a lot of coaches and personal trainers in their feelings for sure.
The best of the best find a routine that works and they stick with it, UNTIL IT DOESN’T. All of the switching up your routine is merely smoke and mirrors. Add to that, most coaches don’t even make sure their clients have mastered the basic compound movements.
There is no such thing as #oldschooltraining, just proper technique while training w compound or isolattion movements. Now, if we’re talking about training like an athlete, that’s a whole different monster that STILL includes mastering compound movements.
